Are you looking to share ideas and meet new people from all over the country? Join your colleagues at The Marketplace Reception on Thursday, July 12, 2017, from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM.
Join fellow runners, walkers, and dawdlers to start the day off right. Interested participants must sign a liability waiver (available at the registration booth on site) and meet at 6 am on Friday, July 13, 2018 in the lobby of the Omni Hotel. A “Run Captain” and a “Walk Captain” will lead the way through Centennial Park, located across from the hotel. Participants will return in time for breakfast having made new friends and progressed toward their daily step goal.
Conference attendees will receive a Passport card with participating partner logos and exhibit booth numbers listed on their cards. Attendees will need to visit ALL exhibitors listed and get their passport stamped at every booth on their Passport card. Once all stamps have been collected (in the corresponding box), passports should be deposited as directed in order to be eligible for the prize drawing. This is a great opportunity to learn about our partners, meet fellow attendees, add to your daily step goal, and win a prize!
Looking for reliable and readily available accreditation resources? Visit our Human Library and “check out” an expert ACEN site visitor whom you can engage, question, and connect with. In addition to our human resources, you will also find written resources in our Knowledge Café to assist you and your colleagues with the accreditation process. These are examples of actual complete and exemplary ACEN reports, including Self-Study Reports, Follow-Up Reports, Substantive Change Reports, Focused Visit Reports, and more!

Volunteers are a crucial part of any successful conference. As part of the ACEN team, volunteers work alongside staff to ensure an enjoyable experience for everyone involved. The duties range from answering questions and providing directions to assisting speakers and poster presenters. The benefits of volunteering at the ACEN 2018 Nursing Education Accreditation Conference include:
As a token of appreciation all volunteers will receive a limited-edition event t-shirt and exclusive conference promotional items, and will be honored in the event program. To volunteer, contact Quinda Barrett at (404) 975-5000. Specific volunteer duties will be assigned approximately two months prior to the conference, and we are more than happy to work with you to ensure your assignment will not interfere with conference sessions you are interested in attending! All volunteers must be registered for the conference by May 1st.
Sign up as a volunteer and have a great time! The ACEN values your participation.
