Biography

Dr. Shadia Abdullah Hassan Yousuf completed a doctorate of philosophy in primary health care from South Bank University in London, United Kingdom, a master’s degree in nursing from King Saudi University in Saudi Arabia, and a bachelor of science in nursing degree from King Abdulaziz University in Saudi Arabia. Dr. Yousuf has been an academic nurse educator since 1991 focusing on maternal nursing, community health, pediatric nursing, and research. She has chaired the Midwifery program for the Saudi Council for Health Specialties. Dr. Yousuf is an external examiner for the baccalaureate program at Sultan Qaboos University, and involved in the RN-BSN bridge program at King Abdulaziz University.
